little league~a mouse~bible camp & coyotes

Dylan and Kaya want to play little league!  We went to sign up today but were 1 minute late so monday night at the pizza factory is the night!  This is a big deal for Dylan; he's facing a lot of his fears head on by making the choice to play baseball.  He has struggled with the choice, he's afraid of not knowing anyone, of being away from his family and most of all fear of failing.  He is very much a perfectionist and whenever faced with a situation where someone else can do it and he can't ~ he talks himself down and really  just defeats himself.  God has gifted him with so many things, a strong will is not one of them.  He can't stand not being able to do something GOOD!  So pray for his little heart as he grows up and faces the world.

So...While we were away.  Daddy had Bowen and Ella!  Daddy always has some fun adventure for them.  His friend Willie and brother Gary are here to help get some work done.  They are flattening the gopher mounds in the fields by dragging them with these series of tires bound together.  A large kangaroo mouse just happened to be residing in those tires and as they pulled it away in the field; out it lunges.  It was running to escape into the quad and dad yells "Bowen look, a mouse, get it."  So Bo and Ella both run for it.  It had no place to escape or crawl up so it turns towards Ella and she screams and runs away.  It runs the 10' back towards Bo who yells and chases it.  Bowen in hot pursuit of this thing.  This happened 3 times, it was looked like it was running to climb up Ella when Bo's swift stomping boots actually stomped on this mouse and killed it.  Gross huh!?  I can't believe he actually killed it!  He is very proud and says he saved Ella's life.

White Mountain Ranch Bible Camp is happening June 14-18 (maybe 19th)
God's Creation is the theme!  Each day will be focusing on one or 2 of the days of creation with games crafts, stories, music and activities that go along with it!  I have lots of GREAT ideas and hope you will all come and help me!
I'm having this business come and bring exotic animals for the animal day and maybe my chiropractor will do something.  Also this Hapkido Master who trained Bobby when he was a youngster has offered to come and do his thing.  Check it out!

Took the puppies to the animal shelter at the request of a very insistent lady (who works for an org. that helps pay for animals to get fixed) after she saw me in front of Smart and Final with a Free Puppies sign. Boogie is totally depressed!

This morning Scout and Motita (aka . NanaMo) killed a coyote in our driveway. Crazy.

and last but not least I plan on actually calling and getting this computer/photo thing fixed.

Trying out a new church tomorrow. and interestingly enough they meet at 4pm. The idea has really grown on me; will be nice to spend the morning with the family relaxing and just playing. Here's the church. www.bishopcreekcommunity.org

So for your bible camp you've got to at least charge people enough to counter your expenses. Mom said you weren't going to charge money so technically its not a business unless you're making money. You should charge enough to make a little money. It's not a shocker that churches make money how else would pastors live (even though most probably need to take on second jobs) but there's nothing bad about you making money off of a bible camp. so you should figure out how much it is going to cost you and basically the price per kid gets cheaper the more kids you get to come.

you going to have them camp out?

I could probably get a decent amount of kids to go if you're seriosuly doing a bible camp.

I will pray for him! Thats kind of how Ellie is too...although she gets a burst of courage if her big sister is doing it too.

I'd never Make money doing it, I might break even but I feel strongly that this isn't for that, it's not to make money, it's just to give these kids out here an opportunity to grow in their faith or to simply hear the message. There is little hope and lots of hardships. I might charge 5 or 10 dollars to cover some food expense but the whole point is to do it for free and not have to turn anyone away! Most can't afford anything at all. Maybe in future years it will grow but for now.....

Alright, alright goody two shoes (is that the saying?) lol jk

you're too sweet...I think my business husband has gotten me to think about gross profits, revenue, profit margins, etc.

I think it drives him crazy to see things like the condo not making money hahaha
