Happy Sunday..our day to rest.

Watching the grinch who stole christmas. and eating popcorn. Decorating for Christmas today and finishing unpacking the motor home (maybe)
(the kids anyways)
We went on an early excursion, an epic journey, to our "backyard" up the dirt road behind the ranch to go play in the snow. After 5 minutes, of sliding down a hill on their hineys and touching the snow 3 of them were crying because they hands were frozen. I have great pictures I'll post later today. It was really a love/hate experience. Guess I'll be investing in lots of gloves and mittens this year!!! It was stunning ~ the beauty was really breathtaking. And it doubles when you see the excited smiles of your little kids.

Christina and Jim visited us on their way home from Mammoth yesterday; it's fun to see how Maddie changes so much every time we see her. She's adorable!

Grandma Guacheno, Gary and Uncle Rod went home this morning at 6 and the kids cried as they left. They adore Gary more than anything, they want to torment him every chance they get. He said goodbye to Dylan and Kaya and thought Ella was asleep and just after he went outside Ella is standing up in the baby's crib (they all slept in Bowen's room) and is crying desperately "Gary didn't Kiss me, Gary didn't kiss me!!!!" She was so distraught, they have a sweet little lovely thing goin on. And each night Dylan meticulously made Gary's bed for him which was right next to his and just couldn't sleep until Gary was in there next to him. He loves him so much and just cried with his head under the pillow when he left. So cute!
