Our Sunday February 9, 2014!

We've gone to the Nazarene church for 2 weeks in a row and decided to take this Sunday and just relax at home.  We've been go go go and I need to chill with the family and get some cleaning done.

Ryder, Ryder, Ryder...what can we say about Ryder!
Oh my.  He is quite an independent, charismatic and charming little negotiator.
Brave, Funny, Loyal and Loving.  And Aggrivating.
He LOVES his bike!

My sprouts started coming up today.  Bobby built this awesome hoop house for me with a revised door!  Sweet!  Carrots, lettuce, arugula, basil, chives, cilantro, spinach and...  After not gardening at all last year (the kids did ALL the work) I'm so excited to see this garden get off to a a productive start.

These are the seeds Ryder planted can you see the little sprouts?
This kid usually has food debri on his face too! HA.

Bo's new Christmas bike - Pretty cool place to grow up I'd say!  Can't get a better view for a bike ride and a surprisingly warm day after a few frigid ones.  Barefooted, Smiling and so proud!

Kaya is all about loving her Grandma and all her family for that matter!  What a source of comfort she has been since Grandma's cat died.  Good girl Kaya!

The ever kind, caring and cautious Dylan.  Love this boy who named his bike T Rex.  So Creative and hard-working.  He has grown so tall he'll soon catch up with me..wishes he could still be cuddled like Tehya and has a heart that will melt the world.  He's persevering through Barton and says he hates it.
They have been doing a lot of roller blading and skate boarding in the building behind Dylan, they open up all the doors and play for hours!

And this is how you build a brooder suitable for the pharaoh himself.  90 degrees and full of chicks, ducks and a turken!  Pretty fancy, A specialized plexiglass lets us look in without opening the door.

Kaya's pride and joy; her and Dylan spent all their money to buy these birds and their food.  They are especially excited to raise some birds for Maddie.

Boys will be boys...I can do a pull up mom!

Finally some clouds, still no snow this year.....or rain....not at the ranch anyway.  SO SO dry and depressing outlook for crops.  On the optimistic side, it's been a lovely and mild winter.  Not too windy and consistently not too freezing.  For the record I am not a big fan of being cold!  At all.

Look of adoration; showing me it's coloration so she can check her worn to shreds catalog and decide what species it is.  She bought the rare assortment from Murray McMurray hatchery.  She also says that soon she'll be able to tell which ones are roosters.  She's planning a dinner for us.
Check out her hip ring!  Oh my ~ fifth grade and ten years old...holy cow....
Where has the time gone???
